One Star Kayaking Course 2018

Sunburns, big waves, and a whole lot of fun. That was the atmosphere kicking off TPAC's annual One Star Kayaking Course. With the course, students from all walks of life are able to try out and learn kayaking, even acquiring a certification in the process!

Skills learned included J-draws, Sweep Strokes, basic paddling techniques, and the most famed and feared of them all; the Capsize drill. Nothing beats the hot weather like dunking oneself into the cool but salty seawater!
